Software developer ยท Managua, Nicaragua

I build mobile and backend software that connects product thinking with practical engineering.

I am Dilan, a software developer in Managua. I like working where product behavior meets the systems behind it: mobile flows, APIs, data models, and the small details users notice first.

Focus

A quick read on the kind of engineering work I am trying to get better at right now.

01

Current focus

React Native and Kotlin app work, Node.js services, and the details that keep a product from feeling brittle.

02

Working stack

Node.js, .NET, Kotlin, React, React Native, Go, MySQL, Java, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Azure. I like moving between screens, APIs, and database code.

03

Why the page is short

I do not want to pad this with fake case studies. Until I have work worth publishing, this stays direct.

Tools I reach for

  • TypeScript
  • Node.js
  • .NET
  • Kotlin
  • React
  • React Native
  • Go
  • MySQL
  • Java
  • PostgreSQL
  • AWS
  • Azure

Principles

The habits I care about are not complicated. They mostly come down to clarity, honest tradeoffs, and noticing where the product feels off.

  1. Leave code easier to trace than I found it.
  2. Name the tradeoffs instead of hiding them.
  3. Fix the small product details that make software feel rough.

The blog is currently a strongly typed void. I have opinions, but they are still being linted.
